Riding horses for 35 years and training for 25 years!

These wonderful animals have been a part of my life and joy since I was born.  Working with hundreds of different horses and many students over the years has given me the approach and ability to connect in easy to understand terms for both horse and rider.    I have worked with many breeds over the years including high-end Warmbloods and Arabians to BLM Mustangs, each successfully riding or driving for their owners.  Teaching over 40 students per week, for many years, has developed my eye to pin point exactly where the rider needs to develop, what exercises to use, and how to achieve effective equitation.

Though I have done many disciplines, my heart is in Dressage.  The connection and access the horse offers you through its body is an incredible feeling and gift of the horse.  I still use techniques learned from my other horse backgrounds to help each of my equine partners be their best.  Horses come in all sizes, shapes, and abilities.  I help each of them become mentally and physically ready to shine.
